L.A. Noire: Rockstars’ newest sandbox game, released in 2011. I heard about this game when I used to work at GameStop. I was at work and the commercial promo came on GameStop TV and they basically explained how the game was played. The graphics being actually a huge part of the concept, the free-roam style, and the mixed third-person shooter gameplay excited me so much. I reserved it 5 minutes later after seeing that promo, and I purchased the game on day 1. Catching serial killers, rapists, arsonists and beating up baddies while cruising through Los Angeles? Sounds like a fun time to me. So was I disappointed, or was I satisfied with Rockstars’ newest game? Well, let us find out.

Here we are with another anime style fighting game. As fans craved for this game including myself, early builds were released at East Coast Throw Down, a fighting game tournament in New Jersey that I personally attended. I had got the chance to play Skullgirls in its prototype when only two characters were available, and I have to say they lived up to their expectations and more. At an affordable price of $14.99…I don’t think you can beat this.

Castlevania has been around for years. Lets face it. It was probably one of your first games you can remember even existing aside from Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda. Let’s take a look at how captivating the new Castlevania is to our generation of games today!

I was pretty excited when I first heard about Asura’s Wrath. Reviewers and gamers all around who even saw the world premier considered it to be the “Japanese God of War.” From the demo I saw a awesome idea with a lot of potential. Although I wasn’t sure If the demo wasn’t giving me enough gameplay or was the game just a giant cinematic scene?

Here we go! Armored Core V! Let’s take a look at how I originally viewed this game. Meh. Seemed pretty boring to me. The first AC I had played was Armored Core: Formula Front for the PSP and I couldn’t stand it. The gameplay seemed clunky, the customization seemed over done and I suppose I was ignorant and lazy to understand the style of mech games. I didn’t really give any of the other games a chance like Armored Core 3,4 or For Answer. I later picked this game up because a friend back home went on and on about it and suggested I picked it up and he would help me out to understand it. I was completely wrong about the Armored Core series. I hope in this review I can change any minds that may be thinking the same way I did back then.
