Hey everyone, Munkeeboi69 here. I’m sure some of you have already heard, but those of you who don’t already know or want to know more, Batman Arkham City: Game of the Year Edition is set to be released on May 29th! The game of the year edition comes with all the DLC of the original game; including Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing, all the downloadable costumes, and all of the challenge maps. Also this edition comes with the short animated film, Batman: Year One. A retelling of Batman’s tragic past, and if you ask me, I’d say it’s not too bad. If all that wasn’t enough, the game of the year edition also comes with (what I and I think everyone else is really waiting for!) HARLEY QUINN’S REVENGE!

A new story that brings Batman (and Robin!) back to Arkham City, to thwart Harley Quinn’s evil plot. In this new story you get to play as The Dark Knight and The Boy Wonder and use both of their unique detective and fighting skills to take down Harley Quinn and her evil henchmen! What exactly is Harley’s plan??? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!

Miroku276 and I were at GameStop one day, looking for a co-op game that we could play. For you youngsters, you may not not know that there was once a time when friends had to grab two controls and share a TV screen and work together to take out alien forces invading earth. That’s right, we picked up Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon to relive those early days and get in some good old fashioned friend-to-friend cooperative gameplay. In this review, we’ll explore just how much fun it can be to eradicate insects of epic proportion and extraterrestrials alike. Here’s a hint: it’s not as much fun as it sounds.

L.A. Noire: Rockstars’ newest sandbox game, released in 2011. I heard about this game when I used to work at GameStop. I was at work and the commercial promo came on GameStop TV and they basically explained how the game was played. The graphics being actually a huge part of the concept, the free-roam style, and the mixed third-person shooter gameplay excited me so much. I reserved it 5 minutes later after seeing that promo, and I purchased the game on day 1. Catching serial killers, rapists, arsonists and beating up baddies while cruising through Los Angeles? Sounds like a fun time to me. So was I disappointed, or was I satisfied with Rockstars’ newest game? Well, let us find out.

Here we are with another anime style fighting game. As fans craved for this game including myself, early builds were released at East Coast Throw Down, a fighting game tournament in New Jersey that I personally attended. I had got the chance to play Skullgirls in its prototype when only two characters were available, and I have to say they lived up to their expectations and more. At an affordable price of $14.99…I don’t think you can beat this.

Recently, we were asked to review Red Dead Redemption by one of our followers, and I couldn’t have been more ecstatic to do so, as I’ve poured countless hours and a fair portion of my soul into this game. So come along, Sherman, and step into the Wayback Machine with me as we delve into the dusty plains of 1911 southwestern America.

You feelin’ lucky, punk? Then step into the demented, western-esque, apocalyptic borderlands of planet Pandora. In this frantic first-person shooter, you’ll be diving for dollars, hunting for headshots, and wiping out hordes of humans and aliens alike for the next best weapon. Simply calling it an FPS is far out of the question, though, as the game borrows many RPG elements, particularly from Blizzard’s Diablo series. Borderlands is one of the most creative games to come out in years, and passing it off as another FPS like Call of Duty or Halo would be a grave injustice. Let’s take a look at this in anticipation for the sequel, Borderlands 2 (scheduled for release September 18, 2012 in US and September 21, 2012 in UK).

Castlevania has been around for years. Lets face it. It was probably one of your first games you can remember even existing aside from Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda. Let’s take a look at how captivating the new Castlevania is to our generation of games today!
